Description: Records of the Medical Technology Program, the bulk of which consist of various meeting files and materials documenting the development of a master of science degree in medical technology. Many of the records were created or compiled by Edward A. Birge who served as chairman and director of the program. The earliest records document the development of the Medical Technology Program. The collection also documents course and curriculum developments, hospital affiliations and clinical training, enrollment, budget, staffing, space planning, and other matters of concern. The files regarding the establishment of a master of science degree in medical technology include proposals, a consultant's report, and correspondence. Finding aid available in the Archives.
