Irene Corbally Kuhn (1900-1995) began her 50 year career as a journalist in 1919. During the 1920s she worked in Paris, Shanghai, and Hawaii. In 1926, she moved to New York City where she was a feature writer for The Daily News. In 1939 Kuhn wrote her memoirs, "Assigned to Adventure". Kuhn worked for NBC from 1940 to1949 as a war correspondent in the China-Burma-India Theater.
