The collection contains accounts, receipts, and other records of payrolls, expenses, fines, forfeitures, and other financial transactions. The records include mention of cholera victims, drunkards, and others being "hauled" off the streets, and fines for various minor offenses such as selling on the sidewalks, or driving too fast. Also includes lists of property taken from prisoners, and receipts for police uniforms and equipment.
