Organizational documents, inventories, sales records and bills of the Hartford Woolen Manufactory. Includes accounts of Daniel Hinsdale and Peter Colt. Papers regarding the Hartford Woolen Manufactory Lottery were originally part of the Andrew Kingsbury Papers. Company is best known for having produced the suit worn by President George Washington at his first inauguration. Bound volumes are a ledger and a daybook kept by Peter Cook, an invoice book of goods made by the company, and a book of sales made by Daniel Hinsdale.
