Elizabeth Cowling collection, bulk 1945-1976.

Collection of Elizabeth Cowling (1910- ), primarily violoncello music; includes many copies of manuscripts of 17th-19th century Italian composers including Lanzetti, Cervetto, Cirri, Jacchini, and Gabrielli; significant holdings of teaching composers such as Bazelaire, Breval, Dotzauer, Goltermann, Klengel, Marcello, Piatti, Popper, Squire and Stutschewsky. Ninety published volumes on the cello, including copies of her own work in English and Japanese. Box of miscellaneous materials, chiefly manuscripts and clippings.
