This collection consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence (including memoranda and telegrams), printed and typewritten reports, newspaper and periodical clippings, professional journals brochures and booklets, copies of speeches, minutes of meetings, copies of leases and other legal documents, copies of federal and state legislative bills, printed University budgets, petitions, blueprints and drawings, copies of Board of Curators' Policies, news releases, etc. Typical subjects in the various series are as follows: cooperation with professional educational and accrediting organizations; establishment of University Press, various schools and units of the University; development, establishment and maintenance of the four campus University; and etc. The records relate to nearly every conceivable subject that comes to the attention of a University president and the governing board.
