Letters, 1851, 1888.

Consists of two letters of the Stark family of Tennessee: one is from Lewis and Nancy Stark of Portland, Missouri to William and Fanny Stark of Sumner County, Tennessee, 1851, which discusses the good economic conditions in Missouri; the other is a letter of introduction for Gen. J.D.C. Atkins, written by John Lee Stark of Springfield, Tennessee to Capt. J.W. Rascoe of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, 1888. The latter item includes an appended note by J.D.C. Atkins.
