Ben Maddow was a Columbia University educated screenwriter and documentarian from the 1930s through the 1970s. This collection consists of manuscripts, correspondence, scripts, magazines, photographs and other artifacts related to Maddow's personal life and professional career. A collection of 57 oil paintings of landscapes and portraits by Maddow are also included.
