Arthur Stanley Tullock was born in Ontario, Canada in 1872 and died in Michigan on March 14, 1957. He immigrated to the U.S. at an early age and came to the Klondike from Michigan in 1898-1899. He returned between 1906-1913 and the late 1920's. He may have been in the Lake Clark Area in 1913 when Walter R. The Hudson's Bay Company began in 1670, and by the 1820s it had expanded to the Pacific Northwest. John McLoughlin served as the head of the Hudson's Bay Company's Columbia district.
