Ovid A. Martin (1904-1979) worked as an agricultural reporter for the Associated Press (AP) in Kansas City from 1933-1935. He was transferred to Topeka, Kansas, as an AP correspondent in 1935 and covered Alf Landon's 1936 presidential bid.
