This collection contains "Roll of Honor-1839," a small leather bound volume. This is a copy of the original list of subscribers from Boone County who donated mooney to secure the location of the University at Columbia in 1839. it also contains a statement of the amounts subscribed by other five counties, award of the commissioners appointed to select the site, and a list of citizens who guaranteed the payment of subscriptions. Also "Founders of University of Missouri", original pledge/subscription pages, 1839, bound.
