Records contain minutes, correspondence and reports reflecting the missionaries' concern for the medical, educational and spiritual needs of the Guatemalan people; they likewise reflect the rather unique historical, geographical, cultural, and economic factors that have contributed to the development of the Guatemalan nation. The 1917 earthquake and the subsequent rehabilitation efforts are extensively documented. Includes material concerning mission stations at Guatemala City and Quezaltenago.
