Correspondence, minutes, reports, personnel records, contracts and agreements, union newsletters, printed materials, subject files, photos, and other records, of the center and institute, including information relating to Connecticut trade unions and conferences, courses, and university extension programs, administered or sponsored by the center and independent corporations throughout the state. Includes files (1949-1968) of John Glynn reflecting his years with Labor-Management Institute and later as director of the center; records of Windham Area Community Action Program concerning Headstart, legal aid, and other WACP sponsored programs; records of conferences or courses relating to many subjects including grievance procedures, steward training, labor-management relations, arbitration, job evaluation, employment security, and time study; information from the University of Philippines concerning trade unions in the Philippines; U.S. Mutual Security Agency files (1952-1953) concerning programs sponsored by M.S.A. and administered by the center; and records (ca. 1960s) of unionized employees at Connecticut Valley Hospital, Middletown, chiefly documenting employee grievances.
