This collection contains business letters written by Robert Wickliffe to Cornelius Comegys of Philadelphia. These letters to Comegys concerned land and business transactions in which the Philadelphian apparently represented Wickliffe. The earliest letter, dated October 21, 1827, mentioned the death of Wickliffe's first wife, Margaret Howard Preston Wickliffe.
