The collection contains correspondence, notes, clippings, cards, and programs. Topics include Osborn's academic work and prospects, especially after her father's death in 1924, and her work on an edition of David Garrick's THE LYING VALET. Two letters concern Lane Osborn's political campaign for a superior court judgeship in Evansville, Ind. in 1922. His letter of 11-13-1922 describes his situation as a Roman Catholic candidate, and the part played by the Ku Klux Klan in the campaign.
