Autograph letter signed from Lillie Langtry to William Winter, New Brighton, Staten Island [manuscript], 1895 March 8.

Langtry informs Winter that she has been sick as of late because of the cab strike forcing her to walk to and from the theatre. She also thanks Winter for attending one of her future performances. Langtry then goes on to tell Winter how much she appreciates him. On the back of one page of the letter is a cast list, possibly for "Gossip." Cast members included are Lillie Langtry, Eben Plympton, Effie Shannon, James W. Pigott, Louisa Eldridge, Eleanor Barry, Blanche Burton, and Tom [W.T.] Lovell. To-day at Trouville (?) is written at the top of the page.
