The collection documents the creative writing process of former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee English Professor Thomas Bontly. The collection contains drafts and typescripts of his early and academic works, novels, and short stories. Some manuscripts of published works include critiques from publishing house editors. The collection also contains the author's notes from 2008 explaining the significance of each work in understanding the creative writing process as a whole.
