Letters from Alexander Dyce to various people [manuscript], 1827-1868.

Most are autograph letters signed. In (4) he denies editing Marlowe's works; (9) is a note of sympathy written to Kean on the death of his mother, Mary Kean; (17) and (18) concern his work on Peele; (19) is a memorandum of a copyright agreement between Dyce and Pickering, 1830. Also included are directions to an agent, a receipt, and a poem, all signed. Correspondents: W[illiam] C[ox] Bennett, Fraser's Magazine, [William] Harness, [Charles John] Kean, E[dward] Moxon, [William] Pickering, [Richard John] Raymond, [Thomas?] Rodd, and unidentified persons.
