In (28) and (38) he mentions H.C. Folger and his apparently unlimited purse. (42-49) from Albert Jackson and Son to Pearson and Co., March-April 1900 record Marsden J. Perry's purchase of a selection of the collection and include a note by Perry. A few letters relate to Lee's compilation of his Census of extant copies [of the First Folios], 1902. Also, a leaf of notes on Lee's The French Renaissance in England by Seccombe (60), notes of this work (81), and a review of it from The Guardian, Dec. 2, 1910 (82).
