Letters signed from John McCullough to various people [manuscript], 1861-1905.

Correspondents: Miss Alger, [Edward A.?] Buck, William [F. Johnson?], Mr. Morris, William Winter, and [John B.] Wright. Also included are a theatre pass signed by McCullough, (23) a satin broadside, "Obsequies of John McCullough", address delivered by Henry Edwards, November 12, 1885, and 2 letters to William Winter, November 8, 1885, from William F. Johnson, and September 2, 1905, from Samuel G. Kerr, both about McCullough; the letter from Johnson quotes 3 letters to McCullough, one from E.L. Davenport, March 5, 1861, one from M.A. Garrettson, and one from Edwin Forrest, December 8, 1864. (2) and (15) refer to McCullough's successful English engagement as Othello and Virginius; (3), to his recitation before the Princess of Wales. (7) and (15) praise Edwin Booth. One letter is incomplete.
