Offers his services for the Jubilee, even though they may now seem to come with an ill grace. Accompanied by early 19th century sketch of Smith's life, which concludes: "I have seen Smith in Charles Surface, in The school of scandal, and I thought him faultless, but not excellent. He quitted the stage in 1788."
