Bookbindings, the majority removed from volumes of pamphlets, disbound in 1951-1952. The endpapers and flyleaves often have contemporary lists of contents, prices, call numbers, and names and bookplates of former owners. Most of the volumes came from the Harmsworth and Shipdham Church [Norfolk] libraries collections which were sold at auction at Sotheby's, March 7, 1951, and at Hodgson's, March 29-30, 1951.
