Biography John Debo Galloway, the son of James and Emily Myers (Hoover) Galloway, was born on October 13, 1869, at San Jose, Calif. His ancestors were residents of Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania prior to the American Revolution. His parents died when he was still quite young.
