Report of the Committee to Investigate the Academic Situation in the College [manuscript], 1942.

The committee was called to discuss improvement of faculty- student relations, faculty-administration relations, and student-administration relations. The report included the advise of Dr. Wiliam S. A. Pott who dealt with a similar situation at Elmira College and a report and questionnaire from 1937 recommending the expansion of the duties of the Dean of the College and the election of a Council for the College which would work with the Dean on academic issues. Report submitted by Virginius Dabney, Hugh Leach, William H. Laird, Charles Harrison Mann, and William B. Marbury.
