This Kay Boyle Collection contains documents regarding the 1968 publication of Being Geniuses Together. The bulk of the collection is comprised of a photocopy of the manuscript proof distributed to reviewers prior to printing. Limited corrections have been made to the text, either by Boyle herself or the book's editor. Several supplemental documents are available, including the editor's notes and corrections, proposed layout designs, and the promotional information Doubleday distributed before the book's release.
