Letters, chiefly from Samuel Kingsbury (1824-1839) in Harrisburg and North East, Pa., to Col. John Kingsbury and one to Jabez Kingsbury, in Tolland, Conn., sympathizing on the death of Mrs. John Kingsley, telling about settling in North East, of a trip to Illinois and not liking shortage of trees and water, of his brother Enoch Kingsbury, a Presbyterian minister in Illinois, and asking to borrow money to buy additional land.
