Jacobs, Duane (person)

Duane D. Jacobs spent thirty-six years with the National Park Service. Jacobs joined the Park Service in 1929 in a seasonal position at Lassen Volcanic Park and became a park ranger at Yosemite National Park in 1933. Jacobs was transferred to the Joshua Tree National Monument as Acting Superintendent in 1942.
