Original and transcript of a ledger kept by Elizabeth Kephart for Charles Crocker's forge, 1845-1851. Later miscellaneous writings in various hands include some verse (1863-1867). A china plate commemorating the driving of the last spike in the Union Pacific Railroad is stored in Artifacts.
