Notes taken by Karl Vollmöller at lectures on the Spanish language given by Professor Friedrich Diez at the University of Bonn in summer semester 1872. (Vollmöller was later professor of Romance and English languages at the University of Göttingen, from 1881 to 1893.) Topics include pronunciation and various grammatical aspects, such as adjectives, pronouns, and conjugation of verbs. Occasional reference is made to Latin and French. Written with heavy use of abbreviated forms. In a hand-sewn booklet, accompanied by a paper sleeve labeled: Diez, Spanisch.
