Contains minutes of meetings for the executive boards of two women's organizations. The first records the last session for the Texas Equal Suffrage Association. In the second set of minutes for the Texas League of Women Voters, the officers discuss resolutions, including support of the Child Welfare Survey of Texas, a request for equal representation with men in the state Democratic party, a protest against the state legislature's reduction of university appropriations, an endorsement of the first Texas woman delegate to the National Democratic Convention, and constitutional amendments reflecting the change in name of the organization. Discussions mention the poll tax campaign and the Texas Primary Suffrage Law. A controversy over the endorsement of gubernatorial candidate Joseph W. Bailey ends in a resolution to include prohibition record in the evaluation of all future candidates.
