Russell Edward Brimhall was born June 2, 1923 in Randolph County, Pocahontas, Arkansas. He had two sisters, Ruth and Opal Brimhall. Throughout his childhood he traveled to many places across the country, including Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico. Mr. Brimhall joined the Navy and was selected for the US Naval Training School (Radio).
