Paper entitled "A survey of some 19th century gardens of historical significance in South Western Victoria and South Australia" : a National Estate Study Programme. The paper is presented in 3 bound volumes. It is concerned particularly with gardens created or influenced by William Guilfoyle or Baron von Mueller and looks at the significance and history of 30-40 gardens founded within the period 1840-1910. Also two lectures (with slide notes) given by Kate Hattam: "19th century gardens as seen in Melbourne and the Western District of Victoria" and "Baron Sir Ferdinand von Mueller and W. R. Guilfoyle" (FB 21 (EX BOX 1514/4(a-b)).
