These are largely the records of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and predecessors in that office. The early years of the Development Program are particularly well documented, along with the establishment of the Business and Medical Foundations. There are also minutes, correspondence, and committee reports relating to the establishment, in 1952, of the University Development Council, a group from within and outside the University that met to plan and discuss the development effort.
