Letters include: (2) 1928 May 19, concerning interest in contributing a manuscript for a "volume proposed as a benefit for the British Legion"; (3) postcard, 1929 Jan. 17, saying manuscript for book is almost finished; (4) 1929 June 4, enclosing the manuscript of "A Postscript" and thanking Minchin for the loan of books; (5) 1929 Oct. 18, complimenting him on the finished book for the British Legion benefit, moving to Suffolk; (6) 1929 Nov. 14, including a brief discussion of war literature; (7) 1930 Jan. 25, responding to a request for a war article, mentioning that he shall begin at "The Nation," and mentioning Sassoon's activities.
