A collection of letters dating from 1955 to 1981 between Travers and her U.S. literary agents Diarmuid Russell and Harriet Wasserman of the agency Russell & Volkening, Inc., New York. There is related correspondence from publishers (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Inc.), editors, and lawyers to both Travers and her literary agents. Includes several letters of Barbara Moriarty, Travers's sister, to the literary agents acknowledging royalty payments. The papers also include copies of some of Travers's typed manuscripts and essays. In several letters from the early 1960s she discusses and criticizes the Walt Disney company's 1964 film version of Mary Poppins, starring Julie Andrews.
