In favor of Dr. Jean Mazeret. Valle, the official "Purveyor of Health to the Court and Kingdom," states that, as the city of Lisbon is, happily, "free from plague or any other contagion" he permits Dr. Mazaret, a French surgeon, to travel to France on the French ship, "Nouvelle Alliance."
