Autograph letter signed, dated : Cologne, 7 May 1827, to B. Schott's Söhne in Mainz, 1827 May 7.

Saying that he has received [Carl David?] Stegmann's piano and has credited Schott's account, asking Schott to find another piano in walnut and place another in mahogany "zur Disposition," saying that the upper notes of the mahogany piano were not wholly satisfactory, asking for two new small hammers for the two highest keys, which in the walnut piano were defective, saying that he urgently needs the vocal parts to Beethoven's Missa [Solemnis] for rehearsals at the Elberfelder Musikfest, mentioning Fr. v. Moritz, etc.
