Apologizing for the delay in sending the brochures, saying that his father has been quite ill but is now doing much better, that the fire at the Opéra has occasioned "une foule de démarches," that part of the archives "aété déménagée par la fenetre," that Perrin and Halanzier have offered to undertake the completion of the new Opéra, adding that the delay of their new work at the Gymnase is caused by the casting: Pierron and Landrot have caused difficulties and prevented the piece from being played, etc.
