Autograph letter signed : [n.p.], to Mr. Lambert, [ca. 1750].

Saying, "One is going to play incessantly with Oreste. I have a pressing need for Pausanias of Abbe Gedouin [Godoyn, who translated Orestes in 1731] in order not to make errors in Greek geography; also the works of Lagrange [Lagrange-Chancel] that I may have no trouble with him. If Mr. Lambert is able to find these books and to add to them Aristotle's Technique of Poetry, I shall be very obliged to him. I need these books by Wednesday morning at the latest. I beg of him to do me this kindness immediately."
