Telling him that W.C. Hazlitt's life of his grandfather is out of print and would have to be obtained through a secondhand bookseller and recommending one, concerning a Wordsworth letter to Hazlitt, being a response, he thinks, to Hazlitt's application for information relating to his grandfather, doesn't think Hazlitt would object to Knight making a complete copy, saying the British Museum has no letters of Lord Monboddo, saying that in Hogg's Shelley there is "an animated panegyric upon Monbaddo, and recommending Knight refer to the article in the DNB.
