Sorry Knight could not visit and saying he would like to discuss Wordsworth's first volume and his misunderstanding with Coleridge with him, concerning Rawnsley's stories published by the Wordsworth Society where the dialect "is just rubbish" and writing about this at length, complaining that Wordsworth would not have talked of Henry Nelson Coleridge as he did in "Table Talk," mentioning a passage in Dorothy's journal where she seems to address Coleridge as "My Darling," remarking on Knight's omissions," mentioning the Coleorton family, and saying in the end that he thought Knight dealt "very fairly and very justly" with Coleridge in his volumes.
