Ivan Moffat was born in Havana, Cuba, on the February 18, 1918. He served in an Army Signal Corps photography unit in World War II that was led by George Stevens, who would later collaborate with Moffat on a number of productions. He acted as a screenwriter and producer for several motion pictures and television series. These include Colditz; Black Sunday; Shane and Giant, with Elizabeth Taylor and James Dean. F. Scott Fitzgerald was born Sept. 24, 1896 in St. Paul Minnesota. He began writing while a student at Princeton University. He met his wife, Zelda, while serving in the US Army stationed in Alabama. His novel, This Side of Paradise, was published in 1920 and he became an instant success. He published he Great Gatsby in 1925. Fitzgerald died on December 21, 1940 of a heart attack at age 44 while living in Los Angeles and working for the film industry....

Carter Burden (1941-1996) was a progressive New York City Councilman, publisher, and media magnate. He was the son of photographer Shirley Carter Burden.
