Thanking him for something Bennett wrote in the Daily Telegraph, and saying that owing to his "misfortune in having been trained in England, I have as yet been unable to persuade either Mr. Manns, or Mr. Newman to hear me play" and that he is again accepting an engagement at the Ballad Concerts.
