Saying that the last performance was of [Auber's] Fra Diavolo in March, 1876, in San Francisco, with Mme Fabbri[-]Mulder's German company, but that he is not sure about New York, where it may have been Arnoldo in [Rossini's] Guillaume Tell (with the Italian Opera), or [Adam's] [Le] Postillon [de Longjumeau].
