Letter signed, dated : Paris, 24 November 1826, to M. [John] Ebers in London, 1826 Nov. 24.

Recommending [Giovanni] Puzzi and urging Ebers to engage him, expressing regret that Ebers was unable to engage either Mlle Garcia [i.e. Maria Malibran] or Mlle Tibaldi, saying he is taking the necessary steps to obtain his leave, adding that he will send a copy of the agreement when he has gotten permission to go to London, saying that Porto would have been excellent as the High Priest in [Spontini's] La vestale and would be perfect as the Archbishop in La siège de Corinthe, mentioning Galli, Zuchelli, etc.
