Autograph letter signed, dated : [n.p., Naples], 23 April 1821 [the reading of the date is tentative], to [Giovanni Battista] Benelli, 1821 Apr. 23.

Sending [not present] a large letter for the impresario of the Imperial Teatro [i.e. the King's Theatre in London]--this small letter being for Benelli--, asking that in all business letters Benelli sends to Naples he "will predict and convince everyone, and Barbaia in particular, that I am definitely signed up for London;" on p. 2 is pasted an address panel, apparently cut from the envelope, that reads: "Per Benelli Solo."
