Autograph letter signed : [n.p., possibly Milan, n.d., 1909?], to his wife, Elvira, [n.d., 1909?].

Writing at length on their separation [resulting from the Doria Manfredi affair] and hoped-for reconciliation, mentioning a letter Bettolacci wrote her, saying (sarcastically) that her advisors have advised her well, suggesting that she listen instead to more disinterested parties, saying that he has every good intention of returning to her but only to a life less distressing than the present one, that he needs quiet and peace and has much work to do, adding that these are his last words on "questa bruta affare," etc.
