Saying he has written to Otten and that everything is in order, that he especially wanted to know if there would be a piano, and what kind, asking him to bring the piano part of the Schumann Concerto to the rehearsal, saying that after the Ave Maria he thinks the winds should take the places of the strings, suggesting that if there are not three tenor trombones an alto and bass trombone be used, mentioning [Mendelssohn's Erste] Walpurgisnacht, Grädener's Overture, etc.
