Saying that after thr recipient's departure Boieldieu gave La prisonnière, "petit opéra badin," with great success, then La jeune femme colère at L'hermitage with even more flattering success, that the Empress Elisabeth accepted the dedication to her of that opera, saying he is content with the recipient's decision to study with Reyka [i.e. Antoine Reicha] in Vienna, mentioning Rode, etc.
