Saying that the recipient is sorely tested, that his loss is unspeakable, that without his daughter many hours will grow gloomy, that "Der Grundton meiner Empfindungen ist das Kreuz--'Ave crux spes unica'"--, adding that he returns to Budapest in 10 days, etc.
